MotionPlus
The MotionPlus Program is a 12-week multidisciplinary movement improvement program for members with hip and knee joint osteoarthritis who have surgery planned for more than 3 months into the future.
The program gives members access to digital modules designed and managed by a team of expert physiotherapists and dieticians to assist with stabilising and managing symptoms.
What is it?
Throughout the 12-week program, members will be guided through a structured and individualised exercise management program in addition to having access to exercise, healthy living and dietetics modules based on their current limitations and future goals.
The MotionPlus Program is delivered entirely via telehealth, increasing comfort and convenience for members. This remote delivery allows patients and their Physiotherapist to remain in close contact for the duration of the program and collaborate to meet their goals.
Who’s it for?
If you’re a Westfund Gold or Silver Plus Assure member who is scheduled for a joint replacement in more than 3 months time, you may be able to take advantage of this program. All you need to do is check your eligibility and talk with your surgeon about the program.

(This excludes our Bronze Plus, Silver and Basic Hospital covers). The member must not currently be enrolled in the 360 patient partner program.
Must have a diagnosis of hip or knee osteoarthritis that has been present for not less than 6 months, affecting activities of daily living, and be scheduled for a joint replacement in more than three months time.
